Representatives of several organizations met in Madison Monday, November 5th to join WI FACETS in identifying needs and desired outcomes for the new statewide parent training and information center of Wisconsin. The collaborative meeting included representatives from:

Autism Society of Wisconsin
UW Waisman Center
Wisconsin Association of School Boards
Wisconsin Coalition for Advocacy
Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services
Wisconsin Department of Vocational Rehabilitation
Wisconsin Early Autism Project
Wisconsin Family Ties
Wisconsin Statewide Parent/Educator Initiative

The stakeholders' group suggested meeting again to discuss developments and continue joint planning efforts. A survey was distributed to those present to further assist in grant planning efforts. WI FACETS welcomes the participation of other interested groups in future meetings. You are also encouraged to complete and return the survey. Stay tuned to our website for further announcements.
